Outback Steakhouse Alice Springs Chicken

Ingredients

3 large boneless skinless chicken breasts

6 slices of thick-cut bacon

2 C. Shredded cheddar cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

⅓ C. Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:

Heat your oven to 350°F.

Prepare the Chicken:

Cut each chicken breast in half lengthwise.

Season and Bake:

Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the chicken, then bake for 25 minutes.

Cook the Bacon:

While the chicken bakes, cook the bacon until it’s mostly rendered but not crispy.

Add the Bacon:

Once the chicken is done, cut each bacon strip in half and place them on top of the chicken.

Return to Oven:
