A Homemade Version of the Classic Cinnamon Roll Icing, Perfectly Creamy and Sweet
Ingredients:
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-2 tablespoons milk (or as needed)
Pinch of salt
Directions:
In a medium bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.
Gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt, mixing until smooth and well combined.
Add milk one tablespoon at a time until the icing reaches your desired consistency. For a thicker icing, use less milk; for a thinner drizzle, add more.
Continue to beat the icing for an additional 1-2 minutes until it’s fluffy and smooth.
Drizzle the icing generously over freshly baked cinnamon rolls, or store in the fridge for later use.
