Ingredients
- 1 pound extra large Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 4 cloves garlic, freshly minced
- 2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 ½ cups White Wine
- ¼ cup lemon juice , freshly squeezed
- 1 stick butter, unsalted and at room temperature
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped Parsley
- Freshly grated Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
FIRST STEP:
Heat the Olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
Season both sides of the shrimp with Salt, pepper and 1 tsp of Old Bay Seasoning
Cook shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes per side, using a tongs to flip them over
When shrimp are cooked, set on a plate and off to the side
SECOND STEP:
Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute
Add the white wine and lemon juice, deglaze the pan with this mix by using a wooden spoon or spatula to scrape the bottom of the pan
THIRD STEP:
Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes
Stir in the butter and the remaining Old Bay Seasoning
Cook until the butter melts into the sauce
FOURTH STEP:
Add the shrimp back into the skillet
If desired, season with salt and black pepper
Garnish with grated parmesan and chopped parsley
